Chris Mason continues on in his second decade of coaching teams for Grand Ledge Youth Basketball Association.  Assisted by John Grove, the coaching staff takes the task of preparing the kids for high school very seriously.

As evidenced by the success of the team so far, they are well on their way to achieving their goals.  

• The 8th Grade Girls "A' team came in first in its division of the Portland Thanksgiving Tournament. The team went undefeated in the tournament winning games against Portland, Okemos and Lansing Exchange (AAU).
• The Team went undefeated in the Tri-County league winning both the regular season and year-end tournament championships.  The team also competed successfully against some of the best AAU teams in Michigan and finished with an overall record of 17-3.
